dear friend,
i do not know if you will ever see this
i do not know if it will make a difference.
this has happened so many times that
i am just so tired of it.
the cracks in our friendship;
ones that we always try to forget were there
covering them with our fake smiles, pretenious laughter.
our choice to ignore them did not make them go away.
if aything it made it worse
buried anger, hurt, sadness all pilling up.
lets finally look it in the eye and realise
our friendship is dying,
i always heard of friendship between girls being broken up
because of guys.
for us, i do not know what happened
right now im too tired to think of what to do.
i really do not know if its worth it anymore
its like your ready to drop us
if anyone else came along.
ours was a friendship of convience.
its been that for the longest time.
between friends if theres no trust
theres nothing
you could not even trust me
to believe that if you liked him
i would not try and steal him away from you.
maybe you do not realise it
but it hurts
you want everything to suit you
i cannot say im sorry
so im not going to
i have done it so many times
so lets just leave it at this
so maybe, this is goodbye
i do not know,
